Five Army soldiers killed in LTTE claymore explosion - Vavuniya

LTTE terrorists detonated a claymore mine targeting a tractor which carrying meals for the security forces personnel at Parayanakulam in Vavuniya this afternoon, Friday the 30th of March.

The tractor was moving along the Vavuniya - Mannar main road when it was targeted by the LTTE terrorists at 12.20 p.m, defence sources said.

Five army personnel who were on board were killed and another received injuries due to the explosion, sources further said.
