Two Senior Tiger Intelligence Cadres Perished
AMPARA: LTTE’S TOP-LEVEL senior two intelligence cadres, VENDRAN and ILLAKKIAN were among eleven Tiger terrorists who perished in Tuesday’s (13) air attack on Tiger concentrations in NARAKAMULLA, THOPPIGALA , intelligence sources confirmed.
Those two intelligence cadres were among the group of terrorists who were critically injured in air strikes conducted by Air Force Kfir and MIG jets. However, both of them had succumbed to their injuries afterwards. At least a total of eleven terrorists were feared killed in the attack, according to those reports.
Sri Lanka Air Force fighter craft for two days (Monday & Tuesday) hit identified LTTE concentrations in THOPPIGALA causing heavy damages to LTTE. Earlier, Army intelligence sources initially confirmed that eight Tiger terrorists including one of their intelligence chiefs were killed in those air attacks.
